Shezlina uses an eclectic approach to counselling but primarily draws from Emotion Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and has completed partial training in other treatment modalities such as The Gottman Method of Relationship Therapy, and DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy).
She understands the need to tailor treatment plans to each individuals’ needs and is therefore able to take a holistic approach and incorporate all aspects of an individual’s life, including spirituality if desired.
