Our Name

First, in regards to life, we want to live well. Most of us hope to live in a way that allows us to experience as much as life has to offer. Second, Living Well Counselling Services – Calgary , AB represents what some holy texts refer to as a living well or a place to receive living water. Because suffering, or longing, can be understood metaphorically as thirst, we seek to create a safe place where you can connect with the Living Well and receive.

Our Values

At Living Well our values include client respect, professionalism, ongoing training, empowering people, holistic treatment, respecting one another and making self care a priority to be as healthy as we can ourselves. Because some of us have received therapy both prior to and as part of requirements for graduate level training, we have been clients and have learned what we want to do as therapists and also what we hope to avoid. Because of this we are also committed to working within our areas of specialization as opposed to offering a general practice so that you will be working with someone who has experience and success in the area(s) that you are looking for help. Additionally we value your part in therapy, so if at any time anything isn’t working for you, you are welcome to share and transfer or ask for help to find another resource. It is much more important that you find the right fit, because we know that is a large part of why people get better.
