Karla works from Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT) and Attachment Theory paradigms. Depending on the needs of the client, Karla also integrates Emotion Focused and Solution Focused therapy into her work.

Karla understands that clients make seek a spiritual integration into their therapeutic work. Therefore, as clients request, Karla is able to use her Christian faith to guide clients through difficult challenges in life. Karla respects the range of needs clients have and so is also able to establish treatment plans with individuals who do not wish to incorporate aspects of faith, but rather wish to work together using psychological principles alone.
Knowing that many individuals seek flexibility in scheduling, Karla is able to offer several evening appointments in addition to daytime appointments.
