Gabrielle values a compassionate, justice-oriented approach to counselling rooted in Person-Centred and Feminist Therapy. She believes that meaningful healing happens in an environment of collaboration, authenticity, and respect — and that clients are the experts in their own lives. Gabrielle fosters a supportive and equal relationship with clients to explore their inner strengths, challenge limiting narratives, and reconnect with their values in ways that foster clarity, confidence, and lasting change.
Gabrielle’s work is grounded in a deep understanding of how social and systemic forces impact mental health. As a woman of colour, she brings a culturally informed perspective and trauma-informed lens to counselling, holding space for each client’s intersecting identities, lived experiences, and the broader contexts that shape their well-being. She is especially passionate about supporting BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as clients navigating neurodivergence, identity exploration, and major life transitions, or those feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Whether you’re working through anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, or just feeling lost — you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Drawing on Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, she helps clients identify unhelpful cognitive and/or behavioural patterns, strengthen self-compassion, and reconnect with their values. Gabrielle supports individuals and couples in developing self-awareness, strengthening communication, and creating lives aligned with their values. She is committed to fostering a therapeutic space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, cared for, and empowered.
