Dana Corrigan, MACP

Living Well Clinical Counsellor

Dana has dedicated over 10 years of his life to helping individuals and couples with their mental health. He believes the best way to create change is within a safe environment where you can disclose as much about yourself as you feel comfortable. This is where his 20-year mindfulness practice becomes invaluable as it provides him with a deep sense of calmness and compassion. With this, he can help you and/or your partner broaden your understanding of yourselves and provide tools to make life more enjoyable.

Dana utilizes techniques from a wide variety of modalities, believing that whatever the client needs is what will work best and that approaching the problem from as many angles as possible achieves best results. These techniques include psychodynamic, Gottman couples therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, strength-based therapy, and mindfulness. He previously worked in a group home for 10 years with people with mental illnesses.
