Shannon believes that regardless of our past and experiences, we all have the potential to live our most fulfilling life. She is honoured for the opportunity to offer guidance to clients so that they can achieve their goals in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Shannon has acquired valuable experience working with clients with a variety of concerns from her time at the Calgary Counselling Centre. In addition, she gained experience while working at an outpatient neurorehabilitation program focusing on concussion, brain injury, and stroke.

Shannon uses a tailored approach to address each individual’s concerns. Her primary approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness based interventions. She utilizes Gottman’s Therapy when working with couples, and utilizes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) when working with clients with PTSD.
