Katherine brings over twenty years of experience in helping individuals to overcome setbacks and live their best lives. Her counselling experience includes working with people across the lifespan facing a multitude of challenges. Katherine has trained with the founders of Parenting with Love and Logic and enjoys helping parents reclaim their confidence and joy in parenting. Katherine draws on a variety of tools and treatment modalities to assist you with your unique needs and strengths, including cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing and solution-focused counselling. Her love of learning and positive humour will be shared with you as it is with university students when she teaches counselling skills. Kathy also works as a Clinical Consultant with Alberta Health Services. She has previously worked as a counsellor in the addictions field, with EAP programs, for FCSS in Fort McMurray, and with the CNIB.
