About Inna Avenido, MACP

Inna offers a therapeutic space grounded in warmth, compassion, and authenticity. She believes that therapy is deeply relational—that healing happens in connection—and that no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone. With genuine respect for each client’s journey, Inna views this work as a profound privilege. Her practice is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe and supported. She trusts in each person’s inherent strength and innate capacity for growth and healing, and she approaches therapy as a collaborative process—one built on mutual respect, curiosity, and shared intention.

Inna is passionate about working with youth, individuals, and couples, and she brings a deep sense of care to each therapeutic relationship. She invites clients to show up exactly as they are, honouring the human experience with empathy and openness. Inna is committed to holding presence with each client in their successes, their challenges, and all the spaces in between. She is dedicated to helping clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, realign with their values, and move toward greater clarity, connection, and well-being.

Inna utilizes an integrative approach, tailoring the therapeutic process in balance with each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. She draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Inna also incorporates the Gottman Method Couples Therapy to support couples in deepening their connection, improving communication, and fostering emotional intimacy.
