Hafsa works from a trauma-informed and client-centered lens, emphasizing collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for each individual’s unique story. Grounded in her background in both medicine and counselling psychology, she brings a comprehensive understanding of the connection between mental and physical well-being. She values a holistic approach to care, recognizing the many intersecting factors that contribute to both the strengths and challenges in our lives.
Hafsa has experience supporting youth, adults, couples, and families, and has worked with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Feedback-Informed Treatment, while maintaining flexibility to meet each client’s evolving needs. Hafsa offers counselling in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
