Megan Duffy, MC

Megan offers a genuine, warm, and accepting environment which she believes is essential to developing a strong therapeutic relationship. She strives to incorporate client preferences, needs, and feedback to help people work toward the growth and meaning they seek. Megan gained valuable experience in her work in the non-profit sector and at the Calgary Counselling Centre working with diverse populations presenting with a wide variety of concerns.

Megan builds strong, empathetic relationships as a foundation for therapy and draws from a number of different approaches to best meet her clients’ needs. She is trauma-informed and works from a Rogerian-integrative approach drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Existential and Narrative perspectives. 

 

Megan recently graduated with her Master of Counselling through Athabasca University and is in the process of registering as a provisional psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She currently offers her services as an unlicensed Mental Health Therapist.
